Hearing loss does not discriminate. It affects an estimated 10% of the US population and as much as 15% in young people ages 6–19. It is more common than both visual impairment and heart disease, and it can impact every aspect of life. “CHEAR SOUNDSATION” will spotlight the importance and enjoyment of “sound” in our lives with an evening of entertainment, enjoyment, and entertaining information.

“CHEAR SOUNDSATION” will premiere as an annual, signature fundraising event to raise awareness of CHEAR’s mission to provide the highest quality and comprehensive services for disorders of the ear, hearing and balance to Hampton Roads and surrounding areas and to raise the funds needed to support its goals for three major projects: Oral Education for children with hearing loss, Mobile Hearing Van and Hearing Aid Bank and the Hearing and Balance Center of EVMS.
