Education

Our Goals Are To: 

• Support and encourage opportunities for auditory/oral education including a comprehensive preschool oral education for ages 1-6 years and to promote inclusion of children with hearing loss in the general education classroom  

• Provide and support training opportunities for educators on effective techniques for teaching children with hearing loss in the classroom 

• Provide and support training opportunities for primary care physicians, residents, medical students, speech pathologists and audiologists on hearing loss and balance disorders including:

  • Instructional courses
  • Symposiums
  • Research and Clinical Fellowships
  • Continuing Medical Education
  • Training facilities for medical students, residents and graduate students
  • Web-based long distance learning programs
  • Research facilities
